Thirty Minute Thunder Snow

If the weather here in Germany would stay like it is during the summer I would stay here forever. I like snow, but only in small doses. We have had snow almost every day this week (its snowing right now) but it hasn’t been enough to really stick around. If it isn’t snowing, it’s still gray and rainy. This chick needs her sunshine.

Tuesday’s weather was quite bizarre. We experienced Thunder Snow. The sky turned dark around 11:oo am. The boys and I looked out the window and watched the snow mixed with rain blow sideways towards the ground. Thunder boomed and lighting struck. We backed away from the window. Then giant snowflakes started falling. We could still hear thunder booming in the distance. It was pretty cool. In the end, the snow stopped, the skies lightened and the sun decided to make a rare appearance. Thirty minutes.

Wouldn’t you be ready to get to Texas too?

I hate this strange weather! Yesterday morning it was all sunny and few hours later it was pouring just to turn into snow a few hours later

I do not miss German weather… I’d pick Texas as well.
